Seedream 5.0 Pro, ByteDance's newest image model: strong prompt following for detailed scenes, and edits that keep a reference image's subject. Pick instead: nano-banana-2.1 (4¢) for in-image text and design layouts; flux-1-schnell for 1¢ drafts; gemini-3-pro-image for multilingual text and complex layouts.

Prompting

Describe the subject, the scene, the style, the lighting and the composition in plain sentences.
For an edit, pass referenceImageUrl and describe only the change.

Settings on Varosity

Always 1K; 5¢ an image, the same as an edit with referenceImageUrl.
aspectRatio 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:5 or 21:9; an edit follows the reference image's shape.
