How to get the best result

MiniMax H3, MiniMax's newest video model: coherent 768p clips of 4 to 15 seconds with generated sound, from text or a first-frame image, including 21:9 widescreen. Pick instead: wan-3.0 for longer takes (up to 30s); kling-3.0 for fast 5 or 10s cinematic clips; veo-3.1 for lip-synced talking heads.

Prompting

  • Describe the subject, the action, the setting, then the camera movement and lighting.
  • Image-to-video: describe the motion, not the picture; the image sets the framing.

Settings on Varosity

  • durationSec is whole seconds from 4 to 15, billed per second requested at $0.10/s.
  • Always 768p; aspectRatio must be 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 or 21:9 (other values are refused before anything is charged).
  • With referenceImageUrl the image is the first frame and sets the framing.
  • Renders took 1.5–3 minutes for 4-second clips in testing (2026-10-25); clips come back about half a second longer than asked, at no extra charge.

Avoid

  • Relying on control of the sound: audio is generated with the picture and there is no setting to turn it off or steer it beyond the prompt.
  • Asking for 15 seconds when 5 will do: cost scales with every second.

Example prompt

A red vintage car speeds along a coastal cliff road at sunset, drone shot pulling back to reveal the sea.
